Quotes from Across the Borderline

“Borderlines can describe themselves for five hours without your getting a realistic picture of what they’re like.”
~Otto Friedmann Kernberg~

“I–I hardly know, sir, just at present– at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.”

  1. Ahem and who was it that was telling me to take my time that we will be here when you come back ahem. I love your posts. Even these that you call "non real" posts. They are so informative so amazingly true and raw and real. Take care of you! You're one of the ones I would have coffee with!

  2. ::smiles:: Thanks Maasiyat. I feel the most irrational guilt when I don't put things out how I normally would. So much easier to give advice than take your own, right? Bleh. I do this thing where I wake up at ridiculous hours in the morning and than can't go back to sleep so I end up getting 3-3.5 hours of sleep and I'm useless all day. Thank you though. Haha and if we ever did coffee it'd be a riot =)

  3. @notme… My first inclination is because we tend to have an unstable sense of identity. Our personalities change so much depending on different stimuli that we can come across as different people at different times. Crap, I had another thought/reason and I totally forgot it. Hopefully I remember it later.
